Last week was my 29th birthday! My best friends and I decided to go to a Drag Cabaret Dinner in one of my favorite parts of the city: K Rd.
Tickets were $85 and included a 4 course meal along with the nights entertainment. First came garlic bread, then pumpkin soup and your choice of a main dish (fish, beef, chicken, veggie or vegan). I went with the vegan and it was surprisingly, for a ‘show’ meal, really good. Finally for dessert each table, or party, was given a flight of cupcakes.
Our waitresses were the Queens themselves and they were all very funny. They made all the guests interact and held competitions so the whole venue was experiencing the fun together.
I would highly recommend this venue for birthdays, bachelorette parties and just general celebrating life! There were some really laugh out loud moments which started the night on a great foot, right on the doorstep of K Rd!
TIP: Dress up!
