This past weekend I went to London. I really loved it. I took the chunnel and I found I like taking the train a lot more than flying. Its easier and more relaxing. The weather was great the whole weekend I was there. The first day, me, Deb, Eugenia and Amrita had lunch at a park. Then me, Deb and Eugenia went to Abby road and the Harry Potter platform. For dinner we went to this really good fish and chips place. On Saturday, we did a walking tour, then went inside West Minister Abby. It was really pretty but kind of a weird place to have a wedding I thought. It was kinda cool seeing all the wedding stuff around the city. It was especially big around the church and Buckingham place with setup for the camera crews. Then we had afternoon tea at Harrods and went across the street to TopShop. We then got our nails done and it was so nice, even though I already broke a nail. Its just because my nails are short and I need to get used to having them on again. That night we went on a pub crawl, but it was more a club crawl. We went to 2 clubs, the first was empty and the third was bumpin. It has so many dance floors it was crazy. I had gone up on the eye on Friday, but that pier is fun with a lot of cool people and a sick skate park. After that I went to hyde park and drank by myself because it was so nice out. Overall, it was a great weekend and the only city in Europe so far I can see myself moving to and working in. I absolutely loved it. The people were so nice and it was so much fun.

This is one of many posts from my journal I wrote during my semester abroad in 2011. I will not change anything in the post unless noted here.
*I went to London the week before the Royal wedding.
