1000 Doors Art Exhibit

These keys were your ticket in

From the creators who brought Auckland House of Mirrors, came a creepy indoor maze with a series of doors. Only $10, this attraction promised to make you leave different than when you entered.

I went the last day it was open which saw me waiting in a long line. Only so many people were allowed in at a time. This was so it was not too congested.

When you entered, you were told you could touch everything as long as your returned it. You also needed to close every door behind you.

Yes, some rooms made you feel as though you were being watched. Others made you question who was there before you. Overall, I just wanted to find my way out. It may have been because of the heat (there was a ceiling and I was there at about 2pm), but it may have also been because I did not want to spend more time in there than I needed too.

Sadly, I would not recommend this exhibit. I thought it was overrated and too small. There were probably only 40 doors during the entire maze! It was very simple to go from door to door and I am not sure how people can get ‘lost.’ Oh well… it is now onto the next city…

Have you been to a disappointing art exhibit?

Your photos look haunting. Not all art exhibits intend to invoke happy feelings.

I like the variety of posts to your site. Keep’em coming!

Agreed, but it was also labeled as family friendly and I don’t think children would have had fun in there. I also think the heat was too much…

    Thank you!
